I get no sense of continuity or accomplishment from it at all. Okay, the game itself isn’t bad, it’s a pretty typical hidden-object game really, but a few issues prevent it from being enjoyable.įirst and foremost is that the energy points required to play it deplete very quickly and recharge very slowly unless I want to keep pouring money into it to purchase energy, I can only play a few minutes a day. I’d love to give this 5 stars because I really enjoy the game. Either that or offer the option to watch ads to earn energy. As others have said, I’d gladly pay for a version of the game that provides unlimited energy. I understand an app needs to make a profit. However, because it’s so disproportionate, you’d end up using up all of your purchased resources in no time and then have to buy more. The goal, of course, is to get you to pay for a cache. They develop great games but then set up a system where you need to use resources in either a disproportionate amount or that take a disproportionate time to reload or both. Therefore, to complete a single search game, which usually has about 12 items in it, would take 8 hours to charge enough energy! It’s absurd. Clicking on an item requires five energy. Compelling narrative, good graphics, engaging puzzles in addition to the search-and-finds. You get to solve some important tasks, such as: getting Osvaldo the salt. Update.I’ve worked my way into the second storyline, and let me tell you, this is compelling stuff. It’s a shame because this is a really cool game, and almost perfect for my Xmas break, but not if I have to wait several hours to do anything. Im not going to spend a dime on energy that’s going to be gone in ten minutes. At that rate I’ll give up on this game in a few days. As it is now, I can solve one puzzle and then come back 6 hours later and solve another. I know devs have got to make money, and I’d be willing to pay a flat fee to play this game non-stop. Meatballa's Review of Murder In The Alps Reviewed on 12/31/18 12:37 PM This game is great, and its features set it apart from other games, but please fix the energy system.Įnergy star star star_border star_border star_border I personally bought $5 of energy and it was gone in 10 minutes, which made me feel like I wasted money. With energy being gained so slow and being used up so fast, it makes this game very slow. To make this game better, increase user enjoyment, increase profits, the best thing to do is to reduce the time it takes to gain energy, and to add a ad watching system where you earn a certain amount of energy per ad watched. When searching an area, there are many items to find, which all take 5 energy, along with additional energy being used up to use a key, light a fire, etc. Many action take 5 energy, which means you have to wait at least 40 minutes to do one action. With only one energy gained every 8 minutes, it takes way too long. However, the energy system takes too long to get energy. ![]() With a great storyline and mini games to play, it keeps you engaged. Like everyone else, I think this game is great. MarleyReed21's Review of Murder In The Alps Reviewed on 12/31/18 12:37 PM
